LE MANS SERIES & 24 HOURS OF LE MANS

Charouz Racing System debuted in Le Mans Series as well as 24H at Le Mans in 2007. In the next season 2008 the team continued in this legendary series, however with the brand new prototype of LMP1 category Lola B08/60 Coupé powered by Aston Martin V12 engine.
The 2008 season started in very special way, when Jan Charouz and Stefan Mucke gained 3rd place at 1000 km at Barcelona, opening race of Le Mans Series 2008. Then in Monza and Spa Charouz Racing System team tuned its car before well-known 24 hours race at Le Mans and it was successful. In 24 hours at Le Mans the drivers trio Jan Charouz, Stefan Mucke and Tomas Enge gained 9th place in overall classification. And it wasn´t the very last success of the year. In the final round of Le Mans Series at Silverstone Jan Charouz and Stefan Mucke reached second podium and the best result of the season – 2nd place overall.
Charouz Racing System is the official technical partner of Aston Martin Racing in 24 hours Le Mans and Le Mans Series 2009. On the 50th anniversary of its outright win at Le Mans, Aston Martin returns to La Sarthe with two Works LMP1 cars bearing the iconic blue and orange livery of Gulf Oil. In an ambitious attempt to emulate the legendary achievements of the 1959 DBR1 driven by Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori. The Aston Martin Racing´s car number 007 is driven by Jan Charouz (CZE), Tomas Enge (CZE) and Stefan Mucke (GER).
INTERNATIONAL CZECH TOURING CARS CHAMPIONSHIP
Charouz Racing System belonged to the aces of Int. Czech Touring Cars Championship in Division 4. Its drivers achieved many wins as well as titles.
In 2008 three Mercedes-Benz DTM C-Klasse competed in Int. Czech Touring Cars Championship as well as European Rally Cup - Zone Central Europe. Charouz Racing System acquired many fabulous achievements. First of all Tomas Enge became the champion of Czech Touring Car series. Coupled with Antonin Charouz and Stefan Mucke Tomas Enge achieved also first place in endurance races´ classification. Last but not at least Charouz Racing System won the team´s classification.
Charouz Racing System runs its new Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse AMG DTM cars in the International Czech Touring Car Championship – Division 4 in 2009. Car numbers 1, 11 and 3 compete in their new Sauto.cz Racing team silver, black and red livery.
Charouz Racing System team operates and services also Lamborghini Gallardo, Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Polo cars.
