A1GP World Cup of Motorsport 2005/2006
Czech national A1 team CZE operated by Charouz Racing System team and its marketing partner, BPA sport marketing agency, entered the first season of the brand new A1 Grand Prix World Cup of Motorsport. Tomas Enge led the A1 team CZE into all the races except the opening one at Brands Hatch, Great Britain. There he was replaced by Jan Charouz. Also Jarek Janis appeared at the wheel of Czech coloured single-seater. In one occasion he started in rookies´ practice session at Sepang, Malaysia.
At Sepang, Malaysia A1 team CZE celebrated its first podium result and Tomas Enge did it again in the following event at Dubai. However the best achievement of the season has been the very first winning in the final round of the series at Dubai.
A1 team CZE achieved 12th position in the final rankings and beat national teams of Italy and Germany among others.
