Le Mans Series
Charouz Racing System team entered prestigious Le Mans Series in premier category LMP1 in 2007. Already in its debut season it had an evident potential and after some valuable achievements in 2007 the team´s expectations increased at the beginning of the next season. That time Charouz Racing System opened the cooperation with British Aston Martin Racing team and Prodrive company. In 2008 season the team showed both speed and reliability. Its drivers achieved two podiums in the highly competitive class LMP1 and its prototype belongs to dominating petrol-engined cars.
In 2009 Charouz Racing System has similar program such as last year. It will compete in the entire Le Mans Series, which includes five races and two official test sessions. Pilots Jan Charouz, Stefan Mucke and Tomas Enge will drive brand new prototype Aston Martin LMP1.
